What is the Color of Your Products Means?

We all aware that we are supposed to eat a rainbow of food but do you understand what every color of products actually represents in terms of your health?

Green Products:

These products are the cancer fighters; full of antioxidants they also reduce the possibilities of blindness.

Yellow Products:

These products are full of vitamin C which helps wounds to heal and also protects your skin from the suns damage.

Orange Products:

Full of beta-carotene, orange products helps to build immunity and protect against free radical damage.  Citrus fruits that fall into this type also help enhance oral health.

Red Products:

Full of lycopene, red products are cancer fighters.  These fruits and vegetables also have ellagic acid that helps to prevent DNA damage.  Red products also haves flavonoids which protect cells from free radical damage as well as maintain cognitive function and slow the aging process.

Blue & Purple Products:

These products have anthocyanins which slow aging and protect cells from oxidative damage.

White Products:

This type consist of onion, garlic and shallots which have allicin and quercetin, both which are useful to reduce possibility of heart illness and enhance immune function.
