Organic food production is very limited compared to organic food demand. Limited supply means more expensive price. Organic food production costs surely much higher than regular foods. Organic food can not be mass produced. It takes great amount of manual laboring. Labor cost will surely follow. Join food coop. Food coop is a farmers association that gathers for the food coop members to buy their products. Members will receive discount for the foods they buy through the coop.  Most products sold in a food coop are organic. It mostly originated from local farms.
